The award, which is organised by the pet industry body, the Pet Care Trade Association, is open to all pet retailers in the UK and is designed to recognise a consistently high level of excellence offered by an individual store. The Group's Malvern branch was chosen as representative of the Just for Pets chain of 16 stores.\n \nAmongst the judging criteria were customer service and satisfaction, growth in like-for-like profit over a three year period, shop environment and staff training. Since the launch of the chain in 2007, Just for Pets has focused on providing customers with high customer service standards and a significant proportion of the chain's staff are qualified to provide specialist pet care advice.
