[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 8396C Wynnstay Group PLC 22 April 2013 \n \n\n \n\nAIM:WYN\n \nWynnstay Group plc\n(\"Wynnstay\" or \"the Company\")\n \nAppointment of Non-Executive Director\n \nWynnstay, the agricultural and retail group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Philip Michael Kirkham as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect. \nPhilip has over 30 years' experience in UK agriculture and is Managing Director of M & R Kirkham & Sons Ltd, a mixed farming business based in Solihull whose expansion he has driven since 1980. He is also a Director of Meadow Quality Ltd, a multi-species livestock marketing business, and since 2002 has been non-executive chairman of National Milk Records plc, the leading UK supplier of milk recording services, which also provides payment and quality testing for all major UK milk buyers as well as herd health testing services. \n \nPhilip has travelled widely investigating livestock farming and new agricultural technology and has worked with leading organisations within the UK livestock sector. He has been a Director of a number of other agricultural businesses and has been past chairman of East Midlands NFU Milk Committee and the British Cattle Breeders Club among other farming organisations. He is currently on the employers' committee of the Milk Pension Fund Trustees Limited. \n \nSave as set out in this announcement there are no further matters to be disclosed under Rule 17 or paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.\n \nGareth Owen, non-executive Chairman of Wynnstay Group, said, \n \"We are very pleased to welcome Philip to the Board.
