(TSXV:VG)\n \n is pleased to report results from the initial\nthree drill holes on La Peña target at the Holly project and provide\nan update on the ongoing drill program.\n \n \n Highlights:\n \n \n - 16 holes completed to date testing three distinct vein sets cutting\nthe Jocotan fault zone.\n \n \n - Drilling confirms the re-interpretation of vein orientation.\n \n \n - Veins appear to be increasing in size with depth.\n \n \n Simon Ridgway, Volcanic’s President and CEO commented: “Historic\ndrilling at the Holly property in 2002-2003 identified several veins\nwith very high grade gold-silver mineralization.  Shallow and limited\nfollow up drilling during the same period returned inconclusive\nresults.  In our 2021 exploration campaign, Volcanic Gold’s strong\ntreasury allowed for a systematic approach with detailed mapping and\nclosely spaced drilling, leading to new discoveries and a greater\nunderstanding of controls on mineralization with predictable vein\nintercepts on a number of the targets.  Initial results from the\nfirst three holes at La Peña confirm high grade gold-silver continues\nto depth and we have commenced step out drilling along strike north\nand south and extending to depth.”\n \n \n \n Table 1.
