(TSXV: VG) (“Volcanic” or “the Company”) is pleased\nto announce the resumption of exploration activities on the Holly\nProperty in Guatemala. Previous drilling in 2021-22 at Holly defined\nan inferred resource of 1.32 million tonnes at 6.46 g/t Au and 256 g/t\nAg\n \n\n (1)\n \n\n .\n \n\n\n\n Spectacular grades were obtained in the last drill\ncampaign where north-west trending epithermal veins cut the\nregional-scale east-west trending Jocotán fault breccia. Drilling has\ndefined continuous high-grade mineralization along the\n \n\n La Peña\n \n\n vein to approximately 200 m\nbelow surface which remains open to depth and on strike. The\n \n\n La Peña\n \n\n vein has been\ntraced over 50 m into the metamorphic phyllites to the north of the\n \n\n Jocotán breccia with grades of up to 15.55 m\nat 7.67 g/t gold and 615 g/t silver\n \n\n (drill hole\nHDD-21-015)\n \n\n . To the South of the Jocotán\nbreccia, high-grade intercepts have been returned where drillholes cut\nthe vein in a sequence of interbedded volcanic and sedimentary\nrocks\n \n\n . The highest-grade drill intercept to\ndate,\n \n\n 4.58 m at 79.84 g/t gold and 5,053 g/t\nsilver (drill hole HDD-21-023), occurs in a thick mudstone unit at the\nbase of the current mineral resource\n \n\n . The area\naround this high-grade drill intercept and the depth continuation of\nthe intersection of the\n \n\n Peña\n \n\n vein and the\n \n\n Jocotán\n \n\n breccia are priority targets for further drilling.\n \n\n\n\n The\n \n\n\n\n Peña vein\n \n\n is only one of several\nepithermal veins on the Holly property. Insufficient drill density on\nother veins means that they have not been included in the current\nmineral resource estimate, but they contain significant gold-silver\nmineralization that may add to the overall Holly resource with further\ndrilling.
