(the \"Corporation\")\n today announced that all required regulatory approvals have now been\n received to complete the arrangement agreement between the Corporation,\n JSC Atomredmetzoloto (\"ARMZ\") and its affiliate Uranium One Holding\n N.V. (formerly Effective Energy N.V.) under which Uranium One Holding\n will acquire all of the common shares of Uranium One that it and its\n affiliates do not already own for cash consideration of C$2.86 per\n share. Closing of the transaction is now scheduled to take place on\n Friday, October 18, 2013.\n\n\nThe transaction was approved on March 7, 2013 at a special meeting of\n the Corporation's common shareholders and optionholders and has\n received all required court approvals.  Within 30 days of completion of\n the transaction, Uranium One will make an offer to purchase the\n $259,985,000 aggregate principal amount of its convertible unsecured\n subordinated debentures due March 13, 2015 as required by the terms of\n the debentures.\n\n\nAbout Uranium One \n\n\nUranium One is one of the world's largest uranium producers with a\n globally diversified portfolio of assets located in Kazakhstan, the\n United States, Australia and Tanzania.
