Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Sylvania Platinum Limited has announced the immediate appointment of Martin Preece as an independent Non-Executive Director, bringing 40 years of mining industry experience, including executive roles at Gold Fields and De Beers, to the board. Preece, aged 61, currently holds one directorship and has held several directorships in the past five years, including with Gold Fields entities and The International Council on Mining and Metals Limited. Martin held a number of leadership roles at dual listed Gold Fields over an eight-year period including Executive Vice President South Africa, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
