(\"Shore\" or\n the \"Company\") is pleased to announce that responses have been prepared\n and submitted for the 56 comments and information requests on the\n Revised Environmental Impact Statement (\"EIS\") for the Star - Orion\n South Diamond Project (\"the Project\"), that were received from the\n Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (\"CEAA\"). The responses and\n their required supporting documents were delivered to the CEAA in\n Winnipeg and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment (\"Ministry\") in\n Regina today. The CEAA is the lead agency for the Federal government\n and the Ministry is the lead agency on behalf of the Province, which\n are jointly conducting the environmental assessment of the Project.\n\n\nThe original Draft EIS, submitted to the Ministry and the CEAA in\n December 2010, was based on the Star - Orion South Diamond Project\n Pre-Feasibility Study (\"PFS\"), and generated a total of 802 comments\n and information requests from Federal and Provincial agencies and\n Aboriginal groups. The Revised EIS, based on the Feasibility Study of\n the Star - Orion South Diamond Project (\"FS\"), incorporated responses\n to all the review comments and information requests. The Revised EIS\n generated an additional 56 Federal comments and information requests\n and 82 Provincial comments and information requests. Responses to\n Provincial comments were previously prepared and submitted by Shore to\n the Ministry in January 2013. Comments and information requests were\n received from the following Federal agencies: CEAA, the Department of\n Fisheries and Oceans, Natural Resources Canada, Transport Canada,\n Health Canada and Environment Canada. Fourteen reports, which include\n 319 pages of information, accompanied the responses to the Federal\n agencies. Included in these reports is an updated water management\n strategy for the Project.
