NOTIFICATION OF NEW EXTERNAL APPOINTMENT

In accordance with UKLR 6.4.9R, Shaftesbury Capital PLC announces that Richard Akers, Senior Independent Director of the Company, has been appointed as a Non-executive Director and Chair Designate of Ibstock plc ("Ibstock") with effect from 5 May 2025. Richard will become Chair of Ibstock following the conclusion of the Ibstock annual general meeting on 15 May 2025.
