Notices of 2026 annual general meetings
Rio Tinto has issued notices for its 2026 annual general meetings, which will be held concurrently on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, with the Rio Tinto plc meeting in London at 9:00 am BST and the Rio Tinto Limited meeting in Perth at 4:00 pm AWST. Directors will attend the Perth meeting in person and the London meeting via audio-visual facilities, with plans to alternate in-person attendance between London and Australia for future AGMs to ensure equivalent engagement opportunities for shareholders. The notices will be available at riotinto.com/agm. Rio Tinto Limited's notice of meeting is also being released to the ASX.\n\nThe annual general meetings of Rio Tinto plc and Rio Tinto Limited will be held in parallel with, and at the same time as each other: Rio Tinto plc will hold its 2026 annual general meeting at 9:00am (BST) on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 in London, and Rio Tinto Limited will hold its 2026 annual general meeting at 4:00pm (AWST) on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 in Perth.\n\nThe Board of Directors will be present in person at the Rio Tinto Limited meeting in Perth and present at the Rio Tinto plc meeting by way of audio-visual communication facilities. Shareholders are invited to participate in the meetings in person or virtually.\nTo ensure our UK-based shareholders have an equivalent opportunity to engage with our Board in person, in 2027 our directors will attend the Rio Tinto plc AGM in London in person, with the Rio Tinto Limited AGM held contemporaneously in Australia.
