[{"type":"text","content":"Newrange Drilling Expands Mineral Footprint at Pamlico\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n V\n \n \n \n \n ancouver, British\nColumbia\n \n \n \n \n -\n \n \n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n \n \n January 12, 2021 (TSXV:NRG\n \n \n \n \n ) (OTC:\n \n \n \n \n NRGOF\n \n \n \n \n ) (\n \n \n \n \n Frankfurt:X6C)\n-\n \n \n \n \n Newrange Gold Corp.\n \n \n \n (\"\n \n \n Newrange\n \n \n \" or the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n \") is pleased to provide an update\non the ongoing reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its\nPamlico gold project in Nevada.  The holes reported herein (P20-92 to\n110) were drilled in the Gold Box Canyon, Merritt, and Good Hope areas\nand demonstrate the extent of shallow oxide gold mineralization across\nthe Pamlico District, covering an area of approximately 0.75 square\nkilometers.  Drilling to the end of hole P20-110 has entailed 6,538\nmeters and is continuing.  Highlights are presented in the table\nbelow and maps can be found on the Company’s website\n \n \n \n \n here\n \n \n \n \n .\n \n \n \n Gold Box Canyon\n \n \n \n Drill holes P20-92 to 98, inclusive, targeted\nprojections of gold-bearing structural zones situated\nstratigraphically below the most favorable rhyolite - latite tuff\ncontact zones, in the lower reaches of Gold Box Canyon.  To test the\nsame or similar horizon as hosts mineralization in the Merritt zone\nand Pamlico Ridge will require drilling from on top of the ridges to\neither side of the canyon.  Holes P20-92, 93, 94 and 95 were drilled\nto the southeast and hole P20-96 was drilled to the northwest, all at\na -45 degree inclination and specifically targeted mineralization in\nnortheast striking gold-bearing structures exposed in underground\nworkings and at surface, where sampling returned values ranging from\n0.6 to more than 20 grams gold per metric tonne (g/t Au).  Hole\nP20-94 was lost in a large breccia zone at 62.5 meters and could not\nbe completed.  Hole P20-97 was drilled to the southwest at an\ninclination of -45 degrees to test a large northwest striking,\nsouthwest dipping high angle fault zone that had returned gold values\nfrom 11.8 to more than 16.1 grams in grab samples from exposures in\nprospect pits and underground workings.
