Nidec Announces the Postponement of Disclosure of the Financial Results for the Fiscal Year Ended March 31, 2026

KYOTO, Japan, April 27, 2026--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nidec Corporation (TOKYO: 6594; OTC US: NJDCY) (the "Company") hereby announces that the disclosure of the Financial Results for the Fiscal Year Ended March 31, 2026, will be postponed, as detailed below.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern caused to our shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders.

1. Reason for the Delay in the Disclosure of the Financial Results
   As announced in the press release dated April 17, 2026, "Announcement Regarding Receipt of the Third-Party Committee’s Investigation Report (Final Report) and Our Company’s Response," we received the final report from the Third-Party Committee.
   Given the above result, we are currently working on corrections to financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022, and subsequent years, as well as preparing the financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.
   These procedures remain ongoing at present and are expected to take a considerable amount of time.
   As a result, we have decided to postpone the disclosure of financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.
   
   

2. Future Disclosure Schedule
   The new disclosure date for the financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, will be announced promptly once determined.
