[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nCALGARY, April 26 /CNW/ - Shell Canada announces that Royal Dutch Shell\nplc (RDS), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Shell Investments Limited, has\nacquired all of the remaining outstanding common shares of Shell Canada\npursuant to the compulsory acquisition procedures available under the Canada\nBusiness Corporations Act. RDS now beneficially owns 100% of the common shares\nof Shell Canada.\n\n\nWith the completion of the compulsory acquisition, Shell Canada's common\nshares were delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange as of the close of the\nmarket on April 25, 2007. Shell Canada has also applied to securities\nregulators to cease to be a reporting issuer under Canadian securities laws\nwhich, if granted, would relieve Shell Canada from its public reporting\nobligations effective later this month.\n\n\n","length":867,"tagName":"div"}]
