From May 2018 to June 2022, she served as President of Xcel Energy - Colorado. From September 2016 to May 2018, she served as Associate Vice President of Strategic Revenue Initiatives at Xcel Energy Inc. She is a member of the board of directors of XOS, Inc. Ms. Yake also is the former chair of the board of directors of the Smart Electric Power Alliance, and sits on the boards of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Mile High United Way, Colorado Concern, and formerly on the American Red Cross CO/WY Chapter.
