(\"Deep-South\" or “the\nCompany\") (TSXV:DSM) announces that it has received notice from\nthe Ministry of Mines and Energy of Namibia (the \"Ministry\")\ninforming the Company that its  application for the renewal of its\nExclusive Prospecting Licence 3140 (the “Licence”) has been\n denied citing the Company’s inability to advance the Licence to\nPre-Feasibility and complete the proposed drilling program as planned.\nThe Company has requested an urgent meeting with the Minister to\nreview and reverse the decision. The Company is convinced it is a\nmisunderstanding. The Minister has accepted a meeting to discuss the\nmatter. The meeting should take place early next week.\n \n \n \n \n The Company maintains that the Ministry was kept well\napprised, with no objection on their part, of a proposed change from\nthe Pre-Feasibility study to upgraded Preliminary Economic Assessment\n(PEA) and commencement of a full feasibility study. We believe that a meeting with the Minister will\nremove any possible misunderstanding and the situation will be\nrectified in the shortest time frame possible. We are hopeful that our\nefforts to meet with the Minister will reach a positive\noutcome”\n \n \n \n \n In its application for renewal and subsequent\nrepresentations made to the Ministry, the Company has clearly\ndemonstrated that it adequately meets the criteria under the\n \n \n Minerals (Prospecting and\nMining) Act\n \n \n (Namibia) (the “Act”) to justify\nthe renewal of its Licence. Accordingly, the Company is of the opinion\nthat the refusal is unreasonable.\n \n \n \n \n The Company has demons...
