Indra Sistemas S A : Group bolsters its global leadership of air traffic at AirSpace World 2026 with Linkia, a trailblazing digital platform set to pave the future of the industry

Indra Group will attend Airspace World 2026, the global event for the air traffic industry to be held from 26 to 28 May in Lisbon, to reaffirm its standing as a world-leading technology company in air traffic management (ATM), and a key technological player in the transformation of global aviation, hand in hand with the main air navigation service providers (ANSPs).

Linkia, its trailblazing digital platform, which the company will be unveiling for the first time at the event, constitutes a leap into the future of the industry that will overcome the challenges related to the technological evolution, cybersecurity, agility, and complexity of current-day air transport. It is a unique solution on the market that flexibly integrates the operations and updates of air navigation service providers' systems and applications within a common, independent infrastructure.

Built natively for ATM on the basis of IndraMind, Indra Group's secure and cyber-resilient intelligence platform for critical operations, it is designed to facilitate the gradual incorporation of new capabilities and advanced technologies, whilst ensuring continued compliance with the demanding operational and regulatory requirements of Air Traffic Management. In this way, it drives a more flexible, digital and automated evolution of ATM operations.

"The transformation of air traffic requires technologies capable of evolving in step with our clients' operational needs and the challenges that will shape the future of aviation. At Indra Group, we have been leading this evolution for decades alongside the world's leading air navigation service providers, turning innovation into real capabilities that enable more efficient, safe and sustainable airspace management, with a comprehensive view of the ATM ecosystem that allows us to support our clients in modernising their operations and building the future of aviation," explained Victor Martínez, Executive Vice President of ATM at Indra Group.

Another key highlight at Indra Group's stand at Airspace World 2026 will be its digital tower solution, a technology with which the company has established itself as an international benchmark for major projects in Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

In Norway, Indra is involved in what is considered to be the world's first and largest remote tower centre, from which operations at 14 airports are managed. In Saudi Arabia, it has deployed the Middle East's first remote tower, connecting Al-Ula Airport with an operations centre located in Jeddah, over 500 kilometres away. In Budapest, it's implementing one of the world's most advanced digital towers, capable of managing over 300 daily operations. In Vancouver, its technology will enable apron control, with the capacity to oversee more than 1,000 operations a day.

In addition to these solutions, Indra Group will be showcasing its ManagAir automation system in Lisbon, one of the most advanced and widespread ATM platforms on the market; its comprehensive portfolio of digital and remote towers, with around 400 references worldwide; its range of primary and secondary radars, with more than 450 systems deployed in over 90 countries; its aeronautical communications solutions, operational in over 160 countries; its navigation aids, with more than 8,000 systems installed, and a global leadership position in ILS landing systems; and its UTM/U-space platform for the safe integration of drones into the airspace.

The company will occupy two stands: the first, measuring 270 square meters (H1-C26) and the second, measuring 60 square meters (H1-C20), where it will offer live demonstrations and meetings with international experts in an immersive room.

With decades of proven experience delivering complex projects behind it, Indra leads the development of solutions capable of covering the entire air traffic management cycle, while its technology plays a part in over 90% of daily flights worldwide. Its technological portfolio includes ATM automation systems, radars, communications, navigation aids, digital towers, advanced simulation, drone management, and space-based solutions for air navigation.
