[{"type":"text","content":"\n Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ld\n22 May 2007\n\n\n\n\n\nNot for release, publication or distribution in or into jurisdictions other than\nthe United Kingdom and Bermuda where to do so would constitute a contravention\nof the relevant laws of such jurisdiction\n\n\n\n Result of Special General Meeting\n\n\n\nGulf Keystone announces that today the Gulf Keystone Shareholders approved the\nproposed Amalgamation Resolution at the Special General Meeting convened in\nconnection with the recommended proposals for the acquisition of Gulf Keystone\nby RAK Petroleum.\n\n\n\nAt the Special General Meeting, 99.99 per cent. of Gulf Keystone Shareholders\nwho voted (either in person or by proxy), voted in favour of the Amalgamation\nResolution to approve the terms of the Amalgamation Agreement.
