[{"type":"text","content":"Generation Uranium Identifies Conductive Fault Zone and Extends VGR Trend on Newly Acquired Projects\n\n\n (TheNewswire)\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada\n– August 27\n \n\n th\n \n\n , 2024,\n- TheNewswire - Generation Uranium Inc.\n \n (the “Company” or\n“Generation”) (TSXV: GEN) (OTCQB: GENRF) (FSE: W85) is pleased to\nannounce that the\n \n recent acquisitions\n \n of the\nYellow Frog and Pink Toad Uranium Projects (the “Acquisitions”) on\nthe Angilak Trend in the Yathkyed Basin, Nunavut Territory, Canada\nresulted in the acquisition of a VIM Uranium Target and the extension\nof VGR trend. The new targets encompasses 39.25 line-kilometers of\nhistorical VLF ground geophysics and features a 2.5 km long conductive\nfault zone with surface anomalies of uranium, potentially linked to a\nmagnetic high.\n \n\n In addition, the new Acquisitions have increased Generation’s\nownership in the VGR trend to the west. This VGR trend hosts several\nsignificant historical showings including the highly prospective VGR\nfault system, including 3 to 7 meter wide steeply-dipping\ncarbonate/hematite veins and fractures containing uranium and sulphide\nmineralization in trachyandesite. Historical prospecting to the\nsouthwest along strike of the main VGR showing identified areas of\nalteration and uranium mineralization with values of 10% U308,\nextending the known mineralized trend.\n \n\n \"Our attainment of the VIM Uranium Target, along with the\nextension of the VGR trend, represents a potentially significant step\nforward for our exploration program,\" said CEO Anthony Zelen.\n\"We look forward to further exploration activities on our newly\nacquired Yellow Frog and Pink Toad Projects once the necessary\npermitting is in place.”\n \n\n The VGR trend offers a promising potential environment for high-grade\nunconformity-type uranium mineralization on the property. The area’s\npotential is based on a combination of geological and geophysical\nfactors. These include its structural position in the Proterozoic\nbasin, uranium mineralization associated with a clay-altered\nconductive fault zone and multiple strong gravity anomalies. These\ncharacteristics typically indicate the potential of unconformity-style\nuranium mineralization.\n \n\n\n Fo...
