Fresh Harvest’s Partner, The Story Plant, Set to Release its First Movie

Fresh Harvest Products, Inc. (“Fresh Harvest”) (OTC: FRHV) today announced that The Story Plant is producing its first film based on an adaptation of one of its novels provisionally titled, “Hymn of Commitment.”

The Story Plant (TSP) is a media and publishing company that Fresh Harvest has made an investment in due to its successful track record of publishing quality fiction in print and digital formats. TSP anticipates that it will release both the film and novel versions of “Hymn of Commitment” by the end of this year.

“Fresh Harvest is excited to be working with the Story Plant’s first movie production which represents an important milestone for the company by adding a new medium through which it can circulate the stories of its award-winning authors while adding a new revenue stream,” said Michael Friedman, President & CEO of Fresh Harvest.

“We expect ‘Hymn of Commitment’ to be the first of many film adaptations of novels which will be produced and published by The Story Plant. The Company is eager for the movie’s release expected to happen near the end of 2015 and look forward to being a part of The Story Plant’s future multimedia endeavors,” concluded Friedman.

Loosely based on true events, the story of “Hymn of Commitment” follows the murder of a minister in Clinton, North Carolina. It took two years for police to find the killers, but not before uncovering a bizarre love triangle involving the victim, his wife, and a mysterious stranger. It’s a story of love, deception, betrayal and faith.

“This project is exciting on so many levels,” said Lou Aronica, President and Publisher of The Story Plant. “Sherry Matthews has written a terrific novel, and that would be exciting enough in itself, but being able to adapt this to film and being able to release the film and book simultaneously turns this into an event.”
