(\"Aston Hill\") is pleased to announce the addition of Portfolio Manager John Kim† to the Aston Hill Investment Team. Mr. Kim joins Aston Hill most recently from Sentry Investments and has 20 years' experience in the investment industry specifically managing Canadian equities. \"I believe that John's disciplined investment approach, focus on downside protection and objective of generating absolute returns makes his portfolio management style a great complement to Aston Hill's current suite of mutual funds,\" said Ben Cheng, Co-Chief Investment Officer of Aston Hill. A new Canadian total return fund for which Mr. Kim will be the portfolio manager is currently in development. \n\nFurthermore, Aston Hill recently welcomed two new additions to the Sales Team: Karl Palmen, Vice President, Sales, will be based in Vancouver, BC, and Marco Manocchio, Vice President, Sales, will be based in Montreal, QC. They will each be responsible for managing existing and new relationships with Canadian investment advisors in their respective provinces. While Quebec was previously serviced from the Toronto office, the addition of Mr. Manocchio marks the first Aston Hill employee based in Quebec and focused exclusively on building and strengthening Aston Hill's coverage in the province.\n\n\"Both Karl and Marco bring a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the Canadian investment advisor community to our firm,\" said JD Rothstein, Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager of Aston Hill.
