(the\n \"Manager\") announced the addition of Sandy Liang as portfolio manager.\n Mr. Liang is based in the Manager's Toronto office, and becomes lead\n portfolio manager for the Aston Hill Strategic Yield Fund effective\n today. During 2012 he will become the President of AHF Capital\n Partners, a planned newly-created investment management affiliate of\n the Manager.\n\n\n\"We are pleased to welcome Sandy to Aston Hill,\" said Ben Cheng, Chief\n Investment Officer of Aston Hill Asset Management Inc. \"He is a strong\n addition to our investment team with extensive experience managing\n investments including high yield bonds, convertible debt and\n institutionally traded bank loans in the U.S. and Canada. This\n appointment is timely because high yield debt and convertible bonds are\n attractively valued and well-positioned to provide Canadian investors\n with high income, accompanied by less risk than equity investments.\" An\n increase in the monthly distribution rate in Aston Hill Strategic Yield\n Fund was announced on December 15, 2011.\n\n\nMr. Liang brings with him more than twenty years of experience in credit\n and equity investments. Mr. Liang joins Aston Hill after three years\n spent at Cobalt Capital Management, a significant hedge fund in New\n York, where he was responsible for the firm's fixed income investments.\n Mr. Liang is also a former Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns &\n Co. in New York, where he was voted on the Institutional Investor\n Magazine All-America Fixed Income Research Team (High Yield) for seven\n consecutive years.
