Eskay Mining has identified several prospective zones along the rift, but this year they are particularly focused on one claim block adjoining Barrick’s Eskay Mine property.The Lulu Zone holds gold, silver and base metal-enriched stringer and semi-massive sulphides which carry the same geochemical and geological characteristics as the nearby Eskay deposit. Notable intersections at Lulu have included 14.4 grams per tonne gold and 1059.5 grams per tonne silver across 14 metres, and 11.7 metres of 19.5 gpt gold and 1,602.9 gpt silver.Eskay Mining’s last drill program revealed that a large thrust fault intersects and displaces the Lulu Zone both in the downdip direction as well as along strike to the south.
