[{"type":"text","content":"\n Crimson Tide PLC\n24 April 2008\n\n\n Crimson Tide plc ('Crimson Tide' or the 'Company')\n \n Crimson Tide entered for Microsoft's \n 'Mobility Solutions Partner of the Year' Award\n \n 24 April 2008\n\n\nCrimson Tide plc is pleased to announce that it has been entered into the\n'Mobility Solutions Partner of the Year' category at Microsoft's World Wide\nPartner Awards 2008 following recognition of its mPro solution which allows\nbusinesses to increase workforce productivity and efficiency by mobilising\nfacilities management forms onto a handheld device.\n\nThe entry follows the adoption of Crimson Tide's mPro solution by VerryFM, a\nleader in the provision of fabric maintenance, moves and changes and special\nprojects. Under its previous system, Verry FM was reliant on engineers\ntravelling between job sites in order to process jobs, report problems and\nreceive further instruction, generating excessive costs, both in terms of fuel\nand man-hours. Administrative staff were inputting handwritten forms into the\ndatabase and compiling management reports manually and as a result, customer\nservice was suffering with delayed invoicing and difficult reporting of service\nlevel agreements.\n\nCrimson Tide's mPro Forms Solution addresses these issues by providing a\nsmartphone-based system that supplies 'over the air' job delivery, creation and\nclosure. Technicians have access to job information while out in the field,\ntheir forms are submitted wirelessly eliminating data duplication and\noffice-based users have access to information in real time. The application\nautomatically generates web reports making information pertaining to Service\nLevel Agreements easier to view. The solution is provided on a monthly\nsubscription which includes hardware, software and hosting.\n\nAs a result of the solution being deployed, VerryFM has not only experienced\ngreater efficiency in its processes and use of resources but also reduced\noverheads and improved customer service.\n\nThe mPro solution has attracted great interest and has also been deployed by\nseveral other high profile companies, including Knight Frank and Marks &\nSpencer.\n\nExecutive Chairman, Barrie Whipp commented: 'I am delighted that our mPro\nsolution has received this recognition and that the company has been entered for\nthese prestigious awards.
