The new system will assist with the consultancy's facilities management\nand replace its current paper-based operation. As well as providing significant\ncost and time savings, it also closely monitors the progress of maintenance and\nrepair operations.\n\nThe agreement is for an initial pilot within a small number of Knight Frank\nmanaged properties with the potential to roll out the programme further in due\ncourse. The website/smartphone based system is used for tracking the repair and\nmaintenance of electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, lighting, power and other\nfacilities within Knight Frank managed premises. The smartphone, website and\nservices are all provided on a monthly subscription basis.\n\nTenants report problems via phone or email to Knight Frank's helpdesk, where\nthey are delegated to one of a number of specialist contractors. At the current\ntrial sites contractors' operatives come to the office and pick up details of\noutstanding jobs for the day. They then travel to the location, record arrival\ntime and either complete the job or, if parts are required, mark it as 'parked'.\nSignatures, dates, times and comments are written on forms alongside each job\ntitle. At the end of the day, engineers return to the office and hand back\ncompleted job sheets. These are collated and monthly performance reports created\nfor Knight Frank and its contractors. The Crimson Tide mPro solution means that\nall reports are auto generated, enabling real time interaction with operatives\nand removing the need for them to return to the office for further instruction.\n\nExecutive Chairman, Barrie Whipp commented: 'We are delighted to be working with\nsuch a prestigious company as Knight Frank. Our mPro system will enable the\ncompany's facilities management operatives to complete any scheduled and\nemergency task in a more timely and organised manner.'\n\nKnight Frank is the latest in a series of well-known brands and blue chip\ncompanies making use of Crimson Tide's mobile data systems.
