Appointment of Chief Operations Director

Clean Power Hydrogen PLC (CPH2) announced the appointment of Asif Hussain as Chief Operations Director, effective October 1, 2025. Hussain initially joined CPH2 in August 2023 as Process Engineering Manager and was promoted to Process, Electrical, and Commissioning Engineering Manager in April 2025. He played a key role in the successful commissioning of the MFE110, which achieved Factory Acceptance Test in September 2024 and Site Acceptance Test in May 2025. Prior to CPH2, Hussain worked at Lenzing Group, supporting chemical plant designs from BASF and Novartis. He holds a First-Class Master's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds. His exceptional contributions and leadership led to his promotion in April 2025 to Process, Electrical, and Commissioning Engineering Manager. In this role Asif played a pivotal role in leading the successful commissioning of the MFE110, resulting in the Factory Acceptance Test in September 2024 followed by the Site Acceptance Test of the MFE110 in May 2025.\n \nPrior to joining CPH2, Asif worked at Lenzing Group, where he led and supported chemical plant designs from BASF and Novartis, and oversaw commissioning projects for Siemens, ABB, and Emerson Process Systems.  Asif holds a First-Class Master's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds.\n \nJon Duffy, CEO of Clean Power Hydrogen, commented:\n \n\"Asif's hands-on experience and leadership has been evident in his integral role driving the testing and commissioning of the MFE110 unit on site in Belfast, achieving the most significant milestone achieved by CPH2 to date.
