[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nTHIS PRESS RELEASE IS NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION IN THE UNITED STATES OR TO\n U.S. NEWS AGENCIES \n\n\n \n\n\nTSXV: FER\n\n\nTORONTO, Aug. 31, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Century Iron Mines Corporation (\"Century Iron\" or the \"Company\") (TSXV: FER) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an\n agreement with WISCO International Resources Development Investment\n Limited (\"WISCO Resources\") that will govern the joint ventures between the Company and WISCO\n Resources for the exploration and development of the Company's Duncan\n Lake, Attikamagen and Sunny Lake projects (the \"Joint Venture Agreement\").  The Joint Venture Agreement was executed further to the binding\n framework agreement entered into between Century Iron Ore Holdings Inc.\n and WISCO Resources on January 13, 2011, as supplemented on February\n 18, 2011.  The Joint Venture Agreement contemplates separate joint\n ventures for each of the Duncan Lake, Attikamagen and Sunny Lake\n projects, with the definitive structures to be determined and\n definitive agreements to be executed within 60 days of signing of the\n Joint Venture Agreement.\n\n\nThe Joint Venture Agreement was executed at a signing ceremony held in\n Beijing, PRC on August 30, 2011.  In attendance at the signing ceremony\n were Mr. Deng Qilin, Chairman and President of Wuhan Iron Steel\n (Group) Corporation on behalf of WISCO Resources, Mr. Sandy Chim,\n President and CEO of Century Iron and the Honourable Jean Charest,\n Premier of Quebec.\n\n\nThe Premier of Quebec, Jean Charest, stated that \"I am pleased to\n witness the successful achievement of such milestone of strategic\n partnership between Century Iron and WISCO Resources.  This is a very\n meaningful beginning of a China-Canada joint effort in development of\n some promising iron ore projects which will bring investment, jobs and\n economic development to Quebec, particularly in the larger context of\n Plan Nord.\"\n\n\nMr. Deng stated that \"We are pleased with the progress of our strategic\n partnership.  This milestone is the first step of our undertaking to\n develop promising iron ore projects in Canada with our local partner,\n Century Iron, with the view of taking them to production.  This is a\n significant partnership not just on the merit of its commercial\n benefits to all parties, but...
