(TSXV:ROX\n \n \n )\n \n \n &\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:CSRNF)\n \n \n (“\n \n \n Canstar” or the “Company\n \n \n ”)\n \n \n is pleased to announce key gold\nexploration targets for the upcoming 2023 field season on the\ndistrict-scale Golden Baie project in south-central Newfoundland.\n \n \n \n \n Regional exploration work done to date on the Golden\nBaie claims has identified extensive surface gold anomalies that span\n100 kilometres (“km”) (Figures 1 & 2) along the same major\nfault corridor as the Queensway project to the northeast.\n \n \n The size and distribution of gold anomalies on the Golden\nBaie project are impressive and suggest\n \n \n significant potential for gold discoveries, based on other\norogenic gold projects like Bendigo-Fosterville in Australia and\nMother Lode in California\n \n \n .\n \n \n \n \n 2022 exploration work by Canstar confirmed additional\nmineralization at the Kendell prospect, with highlight drill\nintercepts that included 20.6 g/t gold over 3.5 m, including 58.2 g/t\ngold over 1.1 m, and 3.2 g/t Au over 22 m, including 18.1 g/t over 1.0\nm (see news releases dated\n \n \n \n \n July 5,\n2022\n \n \n \n \n , and\n \n \n \n \n March 13,\n2023\n \n \n \n \n ). In addition to these high\ngrade drill results, regional exploration work completed in 2022\nhighlighted the potential for brand new discoveries in areas with\nlittle or no historical gold exploration work. Examples of new\ndiscoveries include the Facheux Bay and Wood Cutter targets, which are\nnow high priority areas for additional exploration work.\n \n \n \n \n Key targets for the first phase of the 2023 exploration\nprogram are as follows:\n \n \n \n \n Wolf Pond Prospect\n \n \n – 2022 drilling confirmed shallow gold mineralization\nwithin a 3 km long soil ...
