[{"type":"text","content":"Canstar Discovers New High-Grade Gold Occurrence and Provides Exploration Activities Update\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Toronto, O\n \n \n N\n \n \n \n -\n \n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n December 13, 2022 - CANSTAR RESOURCES INC.\n(TSXV:ROX\n \n \n )\n \n \n &\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:CSRNF)\n \n \n (“\n \n \n Canstar” or the “Company\n \n \n ”)\n \n \n is pleased to provide an update on the ongoing\nexploration programs at its properties in southcentral Newfoundland.\nThe diamond drilling program that commenced in mid-September is\nongoing and expected to be completed at the end of this week.  Assay\nresults are pending from more than 50 drill holes in approximately\n6,200 metres (“m”) worth of drilling at the Kendell prospect and\ntargets at Hillside-Skidder, 97 West, Golden Eye, Northbrush and Wolf\nPond (Figures 1 & 2).\n \n \n \n \n Highlights\n \n \n :\n \n \n \n \n \n \n ••\n \n \n A new high-grade gold\ndiscovery was made on the claims near Facheaux Bay, located 43\nkilometres (“km”) southwest of the Kendell prospect (Figure 1).\nOutcrop grab samples collected from arsenopyrite-bearing quartz\nveining hosted in sedimentary rocks assayed 18.4 grams per tonne\n(“g/t”) and 13.7 g/t gold.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n ••\n \n \n Gold assays of 197.0 g/t,\n45.6 g/t and 29.6 g/t were returned from separate channel cut samples\nthat were 0.5 m long and collected from a recently discovered, ~2 m\nwide quartz-veined and silicified float boulder that contains abundant\nfine grained visible gold (see photo 1). The boulder is located 325 m\neast of the Blow Out target with the bedrock source yet to be\ndetermined.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n ••\n \n \n Channel samples from a new\ntrench at 97 West returned 3.3 g/t gold over 5 m, including 18.0 g/t\ngold over 0.7 m.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n ••\n \n \n Several new target areas\nwere identified in areas with no previous trenching or drilling. Rock\ngrab samples from a mineralized trend located 1.8 km southwest of the\nKendell prospect assayed up to 6.1 g/t gold in outcrop and 5.3 g/t\ngold in float.
