Mr Fern has been a longstanding member of the environmental monitoring committee for the Northern Athabasca area, and is involved with various private business interests in the Fond du Lac-Black Lake area. His extensive experience at uranium mining and milling operations in Northern Saskatchewan, and his 13 year tenure on the CanAlaska board makes him well suited to his new role as an advisor and educator in the community.CanAlaska President, Peter Dasler, comments; \"It has been a pleasure to work with Victor for the past 14 years, and to meet his friends and community.
