Mr. Jensen,\nwho holds a masters degree in chemical engineering, has more than 20\nyears of experience designing, commissioning, and operating mine water\ntreatment systems, including similar facilities at underground gold\nmines in Northern Canada. His expertise ensures that the Dome Mountain\nsystem is engineered to treat mine water efficiently, in full\ncompliance with permit conditions, and in alignment with Blue\nLagoon’s commitment to environmental stewardship.\n \n\n\n\n The MBBR system is part of Dome Mountain’s state-of-the-art Water\nTreatment Plant, which is designed to treat up to 400 liters per\nminute (“L/min”). Current mine water output is approximately 20-40\nL/min, ensuring ample capacity as operations scale. This robust\ninfrastructure underscores Blue Lagoon’s commitment to environmental\nstewardship while supporting safe and efficient underground\ndevelopment.\n \n\n\n MINING TO COMMENCE\n \n\n SEPTEMBER 24, 2025\n \n\n\n Underground mining operations are scheduled to commence on\n \n\n September 24, 2025\n \n\n\n ,\n \n beginning with development work. The Company expects to\nachieve a steady ramp-up to 100 tonnes per day (“tpd”) within four\nweeks and 150 tpd within twelve weeks. By that point the Company\nexpects to have five to six working faces exposed, providing strong\noperational flexibility.
