(NASDAQ:BFRI), a biopharmaceutical company specializing in the commercialization of dermatological products, today announced that that the last patient in a Phase I study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Ameluz® - PDT for treatment of mild to severe actinic keratosis on the face and scalp in the expanded treatment field using 3 tubes of BF-200 ALA 10% gel (Ameluz) has now completed the study. This Phase 1 clinical study is being conducted by Biofrontera Bioscience GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Biofrontera AG.
