Aalo Atomics Taps Baker Hughes to Supply Steam Turbine for Aalo-X Nuclear Reactor; Collaboration Represents Next Step on Aalo’s Path to Full Power Operation
AUSTIN, Texas, March 04, 2026--Aalo Atomics, the company building fully modular nuclear plants to power modern AI data centers (XMRs), has selected Baker Hughes, an energy technology company, to provide it with a 10 MWe steam turbine generator set and associated ancillary systems. The steam turbine will be used for the power island of Aalo-X, Aalo’s experimental reactor, and will put Aalo squarely on the path to being one of the first advanced reactors to power a data center.
