(TSXV:AVU\n \n \n \n \n )\n \n \n (OTC:AVPMF) (FRANKFURT:8AM)\n \n \n is pleased to provide a corporate update and\nprogress report covering the Company’s programs in Portugal,\nFinland, and Kosovo.  The Company continues to make strong, positive\nprogress in all three jurisdictions.\n \n \n \n \n Paul W. Kuhn, President and CEO of Avrupa, commented,\n“We completed a busy and successful 2022 in all of our\njurisdictions, building a strong base to support continuing success in\nthe new year.  In the coming months, we expect to initiate drilling\nin Finland, continue drilling around the Alvalade Project in Portugal,\nand begin preparations to move the Slivova gold deposit towards a\npotential mining solution.  The Company will continue to search for\nnew opportunities around Europe, particularly for gold and for\nso-called Green Metals, copper and zinc.”\n \n \n \n \n Drilling at the Alvalade Joint Venture with partner\nSandfire MATSA continues after a 6-month hiatus during 2022.  For\nnow, drilling is dedicated to high-priority exploration targets around\nthe Alvalade license.\n \n \n \n \n The upcoming addition of a second drill rig will speed\nup the pace of drilling, and we expect to target potential extensions\nto the Sesmarias massive sulfide deposit, as well as promising\nsatellite targets there.  In total, we plan to drill another 8-9\nholes around the license during the first half of 2023, totaling\nroughly 4,000 meters.\n \n \n \n \n We have completed three exploration holes, totaling\n1,946 meters, since the beginning of this phase of drilling, aiming at\nVTEM geophysical targets along the trend of mineral-hosting,\nVolcano-Sedimentary (“VS”) rocks in the Pyrite Belt between the\nhistoric Lousal and Caveira Mines.  The recent drilling includes two\nholes in the Lousal NW sector and one in the Azinheira sector (see\nFigure 1, below).  All three drill holes intercepted the targeted VS\nhorizon, with narrow zones of thin-bedded to semi-massive sulfide\nmineralization present. &...
