The segregation of these roles is\nconsistent with Berens' plan to provide further independence of the board and\nmanagement functions within Berens.\n\n\nWith this reorganization, effective immediately, Mr. Dan Botterill will\nassume the role of Chief Executive Officer in addition to being President and\nMr. Robert Steele will retain the role of Chairman of Berens Energy. Mr.\nSteele will remain with Berens in an advisory role on business and strategy\nissues.
