Ltd.\n(Cambodia) (“EnerCam”) has landed seismic equipment from seismic\ncontractor GeneSeis Company Limited Thailand (“GeneSeis”) to\ncommence Cambodia’s first onshore EnviroVibe oil and gas seismic for\nBlock VIII (“Project”).\n \n\n\n\n Keith Edwards, Technical Manager of EnerCam, comments\non the start of this type of seismic, “This program will provide\ncomprehensive coverage over Block VIII and will guide our efforts\ngoing forward.  We are excited about this search for Cambodia’s\nfirst site for onshore oil and gas production and hopefully this\nseismic will lead to the first onshore well being drilled in\nCambodia.”\n \n\n\n\n Due to border conflict issues which started in May and\nceasefire agreements in late July, the equipment could not pass\nthrough land borders and therefore, five containers came into\nSihanoukville port by ship and then were transported to the base camp\nof the seismic program.\n \n\n\n\n Seismic teams are executing 350-line kilometers of two\ndimensional seismic over four identified sub basins on the west side\nof the license area plus a newly described ‘mussel basin’ on the\nnortheast side of the license.\n \n\n\n\n Mike Weeks, President of EnerCam, states, “We are\nvery pleased to be starting this seismic program on Block VIII; it is\na huge milestone for both the company and the country.   Overcoming\nthe hurdles is a tribute to the team and we are expecting to see this\nprogram provide significant data towards drill targets for\nCambodia’s onshore oil and gas industry.”\n \n\n\n\n Following a multitude of scoping missions by the lead\ngeoscientists of EnerCam, accompanied by graduate students from\nInstitute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) and logistics manager\nBunchhay Yun, the team now prepares to start an environmentally\nfriendly seismic program in the Kingdom of Cambodia.   Ke...
