Cambodia (“ECC”) is currently undertaking the Environmental\nImpact Assessment (“EIA”) across Block VIII onshore oil and gas\nlicense.\n \n\n\n\n The contract to complete the assessment for the\nMinistry of Environment (‘MoE’) is the first technical component\nfor exploration of the 3729 square kilometers for oil and gas\ndevelopment.   After negotiating with several environmental\nconsulting companies for the past two months, ECC signed a service\ncontract with a Cambodian-based environmental consulting company on\nMarch 13, 2025, two days following the notice from the Royal\nGovernment of Cambodia to proceed on Block VIII.\n \n\n\n\n Mike Weeks, President of ECC comments on the EIA:\n“The EIA is a credible document that positions the company with a\nfavorable advantage:\n \n\n\n\n a.\n \n\n The EIA gives all stakeholders\na baseline measurement for air, water, soil, flora & fauna before\nground-based activities begin.\n \n\n\n\n b.\n \n\n The EIA provides a qualified,\nindependent assessment on the targeted areas and any potential\nsensitive issues.\n \n\n\n\n c.\n \n\n The ECC team and the EIA\nconsulting team will spend considerable time with landowners to\nexplain what the assessment will measure in preparation for the next\nactivities, so the consultants and EnerCam team members become\ninvolved in delivering part of the educational component for the oil\nindustry.”\n \n\n\n\n The EIA team will be measuring air, water, and soil\nquality in the areas within the license as part of its criteria.\n Generally, these assessments take 2-3 months and ECC is taking steps\nto lose no time so other activities can begin.  Other research and\nanalysis of the existing data that does not require technical people\non the ground continues and will be ongoing while the EIA is\nunderway.\n \n\n\n\n Weeks continues, “We have done multiple EIAs...
