Announces Further Assay Results from Oyadao Border Prospect Cambodia\n\n\n Further assays received from Border prospect, Oyadao tenement, \n Cambodia. \n \n Value of 8.9g/t over 0.98m in drillhole OY11-042 \n \n Drilling continues on bull’s eye on Border South. \n Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - April 10, 2012) - ANGKOR GOLD CORP. \n(TSXV: ANK) (“ANGKOR”) has received further assay results from \nthe current Border Prospect drilling program from the Oyadao Tenement, \nRatanakiri Province, Cambodia.\nThese are the final results from holes that targeted the Border \nNorth Vein, plus one hole from the EM anomaly on the north edge of the “bull’s \neye” multi-element ‘C’ zone soil geochemical anomaly of Border South.\nThe most exciting result is from OY11-042, in which no values \nof significance had previously been reported and which lies immediately to the \nwest of OY12-051.\nFollowing standard company procedure, second round entire hole \nhalf core sampling has highlighted a previously unknown gold bearing geological \nunit grading at 8.91 g/t Au over 0.98m associated with a mafic dyke. The \ndiscovery of this potential new gold bearing unit has stepped up our follow up \nsampling program with a specific focus on any similar intervals and opens up the \nnorth vein prospect to more than one phase of gold mineralisation. \n\nHOLE NUMBER \n DEPTH\n GRADEfrom \n to \n int \n Au g/t \n Ag g/t \n Cu % \n Pb % \n Zn % OY11-042D \n 70.71 \n 71.69 \n 0.98 \n 8.91 \n 4.10 \n 0.037 \n 0.001 \n 0.007 OY12-053D \n 88.65 \n 89.00 \n 0.35 \n 10.84 \n 0.90 \n 0.011 \n 0.015 \n 0.058 OY12-054D \n 0.00 \n 7.30 \n 7.30 \n trace \n 5.27 \n trace \n trace \n trace \n*Note that as this is very early in the exploration history of \nthe property, true thicknesses cannot be made with any degree of certainty. \nHence all thicknesses quoted are intersection thicknesses, with no corrections \napplied. However, angle of intercept suggests that the intersection thickness is \nvery close to true thickness.. \nGold mineralisation in the north vein area has previously only \nbeen associated with polymetallic-sulphide en-echelon, meso-thermal style quartz \ncarbonate veins. \n \n\nThe tables below outline the intersections made to date on the \neast end of the Border N...
