Rubinstein, M.D., an American Board of Clinical\nOncology certified medical oncologist has joined the Company as Chief Medical\nOfficer.\nPrior to joining ARIUS, Dr. Rubinstein served as Medical Officer at the\nCenter for Drug Evaluation and Research in the Division for Biological,\nTherapeutic and Oncologic products in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration\n(FDA). He also served as a Staff Physician at the National Cancer Institute,\nNIH in Bethesda, Maryland and as an Attending Physician at the Boston\nUniversity Medical Center.\nDr. Rubinstein brings extensive research experience in the\ncharacterization and development of therapeutic antibodies, and clinical trial\nand drug regulatory experience which will be required to achieve drug\napproval. Reporting to the President and Chief Scientific Officer he will be\nresponsible for drug development activities with the Company's clinical and\nresearch teams, and for developing registration strategies for the Company's\ncompounds in the relevant markets.\n\"With his extensive experience in clinical oncology and expertise in the\nregulatory aspects of drug development and approval, Danny is an excellent\naddition to ARIUS' executive group,\" said Dr. David S. Young, President and\nChief Scientific Officer of ARIUS. \"The hiring of Danny brings important depth\nto senior personnel required to prepare for the commercialization of our\ninternal pipeline and to further the progress of our current technology.\"\nDr. Rubinstein received his medical degree and earned his bachelor's\ndegree in microbiology from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He is\ncurrently a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American\nSociety of Hematology, the American Association for Cancer Research, and the\nMassachusetts Medical Society.
