Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

TORONTO, Jan. 9 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, January 9, 2007:

-  GlobeStar Mining Corporation (TSXVN:GMI) will be removed from the
   index. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same
   ticker symbol.
-  Urbana Corporation (TSXVN:URB) will be removed from the index. The
   company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same ticker
   symbol.
-  Quinto Technology Inc. (TSXVN:QU) will change its name to Quinto
   Mining Corporation. The company will continue to trade with the ticker
   symbol "QU" but with the new CUSIP number 748771 10 2. There is no
   consolidation of capital.
