TORONTO, Nov. 17 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, November 17, 2008:
- The shares of Solana Resources Limited (TSXVN:SOR) will be removed
from the index. The company will, via a Plan of Arrangement, be
acquired by Gran Tierra Energy Inc. (TSX:GTE).
- The shares of Infinity Alliance Ventures Inc. (TSXVN:TCF) will trade
under the new name CBM Asia Development Corp. The new CUSIP number
will be 1248XC 10 1. There is no change to the ticker symbol and no
consolidation of capital.
