Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

TORONTO, Nov. 16 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations
announces the following index changes effective after the close of business on
Thursday, November 17, 2005:

-  The shareholders of Terasen Inc. (TSX:TER) have approved the
   acquisition of the company by Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP
   (NYSE:KMP). The company will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite,
   the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX MidCap, the S&P/TSX Capped
   Utilities, the Provisional S&P/TSX Composite and the Provisional
   S&P/TSX MidCap indices. Terasen will be replaced by ShawCor Ltd.
   (TSX:SCL.SV.A) in the S&P/TSX MidCap Index and by Canadian Oil Sands
   Trust (TSX:COS.UN) in the Provisional S&P/TSX MidCap Index.

Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any
way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
