Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

TORONTO, Dec. 20 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes:

-   The unitholders of Fairborne Energy Trust (TSX:FEL.UN) have voted to
    change the trust into a corporation, to be named Fairborne Energy
    Ltd. (TSX:FEL). Fairborne Energy Trust will be removed from the
    S&P/TSX Income Trust and Capped Energy Trust Indices. The newly
    renamed Fairborne Energy Ltd. will be added to the S&P/TSX Equity,
    Capped Equity, Equity SmallCap and Equity Completion indices. The
    capitalization of Fairborne Energy Ltd. will not change in the
    S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Completion, the
    S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Energy indices as a result of
    the conversion. These changes are effective after the close on
    Friday, December 21, 2007.
