Our subsidiary Shikoku Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Company, Incorporated (hereinafter referred to as “YONDEN T&D”), today submitted a revision of its general provisions for wheeling services*1 to the METI minister pursuant to Article 18, Paragraph 5*2 of the Electricity Business Act. We hereby inform you of this matter. (The revised general provisions for wheeling services submitted today are scheduled to take effect as of
November 1, 2026.)

*2: Electricity Business Act, Article 18, Paragraph 5 [General Provisions for Wheeling Services]
If a general electricity transmission and distribution utility has revised the rates and other supply conditions pursuant to the preceding paragraph, it must notify the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of the
revised general provisions for wheeling service, etc. pursuant to provisions by Order of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Under this revision, YONDEN T&D has revised its unit price of wheeling charges based on the amounts that reflect the adjustment arising from the divergence between the projected wheeling revenue and the actual wheeling revenue for fiscal years 2023 and 2024, as incorporated into the “Revenue Projections Related to Wheeling Charges,” which was approved by the METI minister on September 4, 2026.

[Impact on Consolidated Results of Operations Anticipated from the Submission of Revision]
The anticipated increase in wheeling tariff revenue resulting from the submission of revision is as follows:
Increase in projected revenue for fiscal years 2026–2027 due to the reflection of factors such as higher prices, labor costs, and interest rates | 37.8 billion yen [26.7 billion yen per year] |
Adjustment arising from the divergence between the projected revenue and the actual revenue for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 | (4.0) billion yen [(2.8) billion yen per year] |
Total | 33.8 billion yen [23.9 billion yen per year] |
Accordingly, the impact that may arise on our consolidated results of operations for fiscal years 2026 and 2027 is expected to be generally in line with the above. The specific impact on our consolidated results of operations will be promptly examined once we determine how the revised wheeling tariffs will be reflected in our retail electricity tariffs.
