Mr. Lekstrom has 14 years mining experience in progressively senior roles in project, operations, and engineering management and has a strong leadership background with experience overseeing 100+ person teams onsite. In a recent role, Mr. Lekstrom served as Engineering Manager responsible for the budgeting, scheduling and the first phases of execution at Sabina Gold and Silver’s Back River Marine Laydown Project. Prior to that, Mr. Lekstrom spent two years in Ghana, West Africa where he played an integral role in the development and revival of Golden Star Resources’ Prestea underground mine. He led project, engineering, and maintenance teams and worked with members of the executive team on the implementation of various strategic initiatives. A graduate of Thompson Rivers University, Mr. Lekstrom has an established track record delivering successes across numerous projects worldwide.

Mr. Zaunscherb is a Canadian geologist with over thirty-two years, and six cycles, of experience as a mining analyst. He most recently served as Managing Director, Research – Metals & Mining Analyst at Canaccord Genuity where he co-ordinated the firm’s global mining equity research team. He has enjoyed experiencing best practices in Capital Markets at several leading firms, and reviewing and evaluating hundreds of exploration, development, and mining projects globally. He embraces new technologies and industry initiatives in diversity and socially responsible investing, ensuring that local communities receive lasting benefits from mineral resource development.

A former Executive General Manager of Barrick Gold’s Lumwana Copper Mine in Zambia, Mr Ash is an experienced American Mining Engineer and modernizing leader, with a proven track record of building and leading teams capable of optimizing and enhancing the operating efficiency, profitability and sustainability of mining operations in complex and challenging environments. During his tenure at Lumwana Mr. Ash Delivered over $100M in sustainable free cash flow improvements, achieved 50% improvement in safety performance, executed a training and development program achieving 96% local workforce, and progressed expansion plans that doubled the value of mine. Mr. Espig assumed the role of President and CEO on November 7, 2013 and guided the Company through its restructuring, which included entering the company into CCAA and successfully exiting on November 21, 2014. He is experienced in the analysis of investment opportunities, raising capital, deal sourcing, financial structuring, and corporate turnaround. Mr. Espig has structured over US$2.0 billion in private equity and pre-IPO investment transactions from the principal side and is a pioneer of SPACs, having completed over $1.0 BN in transactions. Mr. Espig served as Vice-President of the Principal Finance and Securitization Group and Asia Special Situations Group for Goldman Sachs Japan. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Espig was Vice-President of Olympus Capital, a New York private equity firm, where he participated in corporate restructurings, investment analysis and financing negotiations for both domestic and international investments. In 1989, Mr. Espig received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and later received his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a Chazen International Scholar. Mr. Espig has been active in the turnaround of mining projects and has functioned in management and director roles for numerous mining companies.
