Zonte Metals Announces It Has Extended The Big K Target and Updates Drilling On Its Cross Hills Copper Project.

About this update from Zonte Metals Inc.

[{"type":"text","content":"Zonte Metals Announces It Has Extended The Big K Target and Updates Drilling On Its Cross Hills Copper Project.\n\n\n (TheNewswire)\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n August 7, 2024 -\n \n\n Halifax, NS, Canada\n \n\n -\n \n\n Zonte Metals Inc.\n(TSXV: ZON) (“Zonte” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide\nan update on  its ongoing exploration program at the Cross Hills Iron\nOxide Copper Gold Project.\n \n\n\n\n Additional soil sampling conducted adjacent to and\nsouth of the previously discovered Big K target, has extended the\ncopper-in-soil anomaly to over 3km. The Big K target was previously\nidentified from coincident magnetic and gravity anomalies, with\nbedrock copper mineralization and a copper-in-soil anomaly, sitting is\na structural corridor. The additional soil sampling to the south of\nthe Big K target has identified an extension of the original\ncopper-in-soil anomaly, now measuring 3,300m in length and up to 650m\nin width. This extended length also coincides with a magnetic anomaly,\nwhich is defined as a string of magnetic highs through the target.\n \n\n Further exploration, including a gravity survey,\nprospecting and mapping, will be required for this new\nextension\n \n\n .\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Previously, the Company\nidentified copper mineralization in several locations on the northern\nhalf of the Big K target. In one grab sample, chalcocite veining in a\ngranite capping unit returned 2.82% Cu, 10.0 g/t Ag and 0.17% U3O8\n(see April 3, 2018 press release). The nature of the mineralization\nmay suggest fluid remobilization from depth and into the overlying\ngranite. A map of the Big K target and a picture of the chalcocite\nvein can be viewed below and on the Cross Hills webpage at\n \n\n\n\n http://www.zontemetals.com/projects/cross-hill-project\n \n\n\n\n\n\n The Company is also pleased to announce the completion\nof the recently announced drill program at the K6 target. Five drill\nholes tested additional extensions of the previously drill discovered\ncopper mineralization. Drill hole logging is near completion after\nwhich the samples will be delivered to the lab.\n \n\n\n\n Qualified Person\n \n\n\n\n Donald Blake, P.Geo. is the qualified person as defined\nby NI 43-101 and has reviewed and approved the contents and technical\ndisclosures in this press release.\n \n\n\n\n\n...
