The pilot site www.vets.tv went live at the\nBritish Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress.\n\n\n\n Ten Alps progress in Online TV\n\n\nTen Alps is pioneering similar sector-specific online TV propositions across its\n740-strong base of contract-published titles.\n\nTen Alps has a 75% interest in the media consortium behind the professional\nonline TV market-leading Teachers TV channel, which has just won a new contract\nfor the next five years. Ten Alps runs Kent TV, the only fully local\nauthority-funded service of its kind in the UK, and has Public TV, which is a 14\nchannel B2B online TV service.\n\n'Ten Alps provided publishing services to the BVA and online TV was a natural\nnext step,' said Alex Connock, Ten Alps CEO. 'Online TV business models that\nreally work are increasingly looking like contract publishing, and we are very\nwell placed to drive that market. This is the first of a number of channels we\nare rolling out this year.'\n\n\n\n VETS.TV\n\n\n\nVETS.TV is available on demand, 24 hours a day and includes specially produced\nfilms on MRSA, litigation and stress management, best practice, a series of\ninterviews with key veterinary figures and a number of acquired programmes of\ninterest to vets and animal health practitioners.\n\nBVA President Nick Blayney said:\n\n'I am confident that VETS.TV represents the future of Continuing Professional\nDevelopment (CPD.)
