[{"type":"text","content":"\n Ten Alps PLC\n02 November 2006\n\nFor immediate release\n\n2 November 2006\n\n\n Ten Alps Plc: Entertainment TV\n\n First major terrestrial TV commission\n\n\nTen Alps Plc ('Ten Alps') announces its first significant terrestrial\nentertainment TV commission - six one-hour episodes of a Channel 4 series\nprovisionally titled Harvey Goldsmith Presents...\n\n\nThe project was announced by Channel 4 today, having been in production for the\npast three months.\n\n\nThe commission represents the first publicised fruit of a move made earlier in\n2006 by Ten Alps, beyond its core factual TV strength into entertainment and\ndrama.\n\n\nIn the series, high-profile promoter Harvey Goldsmith (Live Aid, Pavarotti in\nHyde Park, tours for Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen) brings his unique\nexperience of triumphs and setbacks in a lifetime as a showbiz impresario to the\naid of six entertainment acts or businesses. Some are internationally famous,\nsome are almost unknown. The precise content of the show will be announced when\nthe series is broadcast in early Spring 2007.
