This is the sixth time that a Zinc Media company has been recognised by BAFTA in the last three years.\n \nThe film tells the story of 12-year old Nikki Lilly, who loves makeup, clothes, baking cakes and social media. Nikki isn't your average 12 year old. Having been diagnosed at six years old with a life threatening medical condition, Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), Nikki has to fly to the United States every other month for complex surgery. She has her own YouTube channel, using vlogging as a way to connect with the world, and she has attracted over 17 million views to her page. \n \nThis film, 'Born to Vlog' is an insight into Nikki's life over six months in 2016, mixing observational filming with her own video diaries and social media vlogs. \n \nDavid Galan, Chief Operating and Financial Officer of the Group commented: \"We are delighted to receive this nomination, which highlights the continued creative excellence of our team of talented programme makers as we continue to build a solid reputation as a leading producer of high-quality factual television programmes.
