[{"type":"text","content":"\n Vane Minerals PLC\n30 November 2007\n\n30th November 2007\n AIM: VML\n\n\n VANE Minerals Plc\n ('VANE' or 'the Company')\n\n\n Result of EGM\n\n\nVANE announces that following its Extraordinary General Meeting ('EGM'), held at\n11am today, all proposed resolutions were duly passed by shareholders.\n\nThe EGM was convened primarily to seek the necessary authorities to approve a\nplacing of Ordinary shares of 10p each ('Shares') to raise approximately £6.25\nmillion at a placing price of 17.5p per Share.\n\nApplication has been made for the 35,714,285 new Shares issued today to be\nadmitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that trading in the Shares will\ncommence on Monday 3rd December.\n\nThe net proceeds of the Placing will be primarily used to accelerate VANE's\nbreccia pipe drilling campaign in Northern Arizona, where the Company has 39\ndrill targets, and to proceed with further rounds of drilling on the Company's\nsix properties in Utah.
