But, which is often typical on the first\nday, activity was very subdued at the\nbooths of many smaller diamond\nexhibitors, by their own account.\n\n \n\ngabriel\ndiamondsNonetheless, retailers were ordering \nunique, fine diamond jewelry that\npresented an elegant fashion statement and that could be worn day and/or night,\naccording to Gabriel & Co. New York, which nearly achieved its entire show\nsales goal on the first day.\n\n \n\nGabriel\n& Co.’s fall 2015 collections, including Aurora Gold, Lusso, Kaslique,\nStellare, Souviens and Amavida, were all popular with buyers, according to the\nfirm. The collections were curated by\nthe company's global style director, Hal Rubenstein, and offered\nstatement-sized “Cascade Chokers,” an asymmetrical trail of diamonds, while the adjustable “Y-Knot” necklace featured clean lines that formed into the\nshape of the letter “Y,” made to fall in place while accenting the body’s\nhidden contours. \n\n \n\nIn addition,\nthe firm offered “Comets” earrings,\nfeaturing a large diamond or colored gemstone, encrusted ear cuffs and ear\nclimbers that “climb” the length of the ear, and delicate ear jackets featuring\n“Gemini Sparklers” or “peek-a-boo” diamonds or colored gemstones.\n\n \n\n“The welcome\nreturn of urbane sophistication to fashion couldn't be better timing for\nGabriel & Co.'s new mantra of fine jewelry everyday,” said Rubenstein. “In each design of Gabriel &\nCo.’s curated collections, whether your focus is on the new brilliantly faceted\nstones of Souviens; the instantly successful rapier edge of Kaslique; the ‘...
