The emotional connection that these artists feel toward their local communities and the businesses that are the backbone of\n \n Canada\n \n was evident through their pieces of art. She is a past President of the Central Ontario Art Association.  Brenda owns a gallery and studio in Huntsville, Ontario.\n \n\n Additionally, we would like to recognize\n \n Shannon Delaney\n \n and\n \n Sophie Paisley\n \n at Ladysmith Arts in\n \n British Columbia\n \n ,\n \n www.ladysmitharts.ca\n \n , for the cardboard collage submitted by their elementary school students. This mural was created by an amazing group of students between six and eight years of age to celebrate their community of\n \n Ladysmith, BC\n \n .
